but before that, me n gu went to eat prawn mee first!!! we walked our way to eat the famous Beach Rd prawn mee located just across my hse not too faraway along east coast road that stretch. on our way home we bought newspprs and also a cloth and some sponges. heehee

we went home to gather our FORCES OF BUCKETS, WASHING POWDER, PAINT, CLOTH N SPONGE!

so while gu wash n i watch, i walked ard to see which part he didn't wash n is dirty and points points at it to tell gu to wash. muahahaha



after we got the bike sparky and squeaky cleaned we went back upstairs then gugu bathed i think? he fetched me to Tampines Mall to meet mi aunt n cous to makan.

we jalan-ed ard TM foodcourt awhile and saw this aquaristik place DAMN NICE THE TANKS THEY MAKE!

as we walked on out gu reminded me that sano once sent me an sms tellin us that there's a board game shop ard parklane and also, gu came by the crewroom (ktv pub) where his friend, ah boon, was workin in. they just dropped by couple of days ago to drink.

so we decided to scout the area for the shop sano mentioned and here it is! they allow u to dine in and play board games! (2 other similar outlets along bugis & clarke quay areas)

we had our usual cold cut trio and cookies!! me as usual will eat macadamia nut cookies n gu will take the choc chip ones. heh. we'll normally halve both cookies n share it. in the midst of our chat+meal it started raining all over again and so we decided to play arcade.

we decided to play bomber man first.
then i mati-ed once cos gu set bomb nvr warn me so i mati-ed!

after waiting for ages to have gu finish w his bomber man game, we moved on to our next game which is this one. not puzzle boggle. but the one with diamonds one.

AGAIN, gu bullied me and send me lotsa diamonds then i mati-ed after two games.

anyway, i had a good day with only me n my gu going out together and doing things together.

around 2am we went down to 7-11 to eat cup noodles HAHA and then after that we chatted on the bed while i help gu pluck facial hair and hearin him wince the whole time, we slept at around 4am.

at least i have a "heat insulator", altho quite hairy, to hug thro the cold night (cos stupid gu target fan at our direction).

so we ran simple errands here and there the whole day today and yesterday and the day before!?

i remember waking up everyday with gu n askin him wad we nid to today.

i managed to go develop some photos. All 123 of them!!!
Rearranged all my photo albums, loved my bbq photos to bits, and also, tore up some old pics and last but not least, rearranged my ferris wheel photoframe and now it's complete!!!!

I've also printed an extra copy of a pic of me n my dear gu to put it on my comp desk. HEE!!!

Being Christmas day itself today, me n wilson went to do our usual errands today and at night, we had steamboat for dinner together with mama n papa!!! then, met up with Chingling n her gf over at parkway's kopitiam for teh-peng session.

a much smaller bike than his previous. felt weird sitting on it and i have trouble getting up LOL.
must find a way to get up properly. didn't manage to capture the box attached at the back of the bike lah haha cos standing on road. then the seat is more levelled than the previous bike. so can directly hug wilson haha then when he brakes wun keep sliding down like before but this bike can't speed much like the previous for obvious reasons. changing of gear makes a rather comical clucking sound and the bike jerks. hahahahaha felt as if i'm on a scooter.

overall experience?

today witness car buang.

heng we (wilson n i) far enuff to brake in time so never buang as well.

it was at the exit of ECP from Rochor towards Suntec City.
Since i'm not the rider but only the pillion, i have a bad habit of humming songs to kill time and also look ard.

All of a sudden i hear the sound of a car skidding and i see a black car stopping ahead and further up from it was a white Honda Integra and the car half spinned to the center.. then it's bumper came flying off to the left with small parts here n there..

wilson say he heard a car buang sound but i only manage to hear the skidding sound before i witness wad happened.

then as we get our senses back from the shock of wad we saw, wilson pulled up with his brakes and we stopped just behind the white car. the owner (guy in red jersey, look beng?) came out then on the left, a charboh in white and short skirt came out. i took a glance at the black car that pulled up behind but realised that the car never kena anything. headlights, bumper, all swee swee. then wad buang-ed wad?? so i asked wilson after we got off at suntec cardpark. but before that, as we left to stir towards the left of the white car to find a way out to drive off, i could smell something burning and wilson said it was the car tyres being burnt after skidding. he noticed the cooler water dripping. most prob damaged. then scared EXPLOSION HOW lol so faster siam.

leaving the scene and reaching safety, we discussed. according to wilson, the honda owner ya ya or wad, then was probably speeding. if u didn't know, from ECP headin rochor and turnin out towards suntec/bridge road, the road's a lil steep and then they'll be a sharp turn. wilson deduced the car prolly was speeding and approached the sharp turn with too much speed before he could brake/decelerate in time then buang onto the curb lo! then.. buang then spin..then.. bumper fly. probably causing traffic jam later since the white car ended up in the center then bumper flew left then other small parts not that tiny.. so.. *shrugs*

melancholia hits me in yet another way today.

or should i say,
these few weeks?

i feel a sense.. of boredom.
yet there's a sense of tiredness.
but i simply can't put my fingers to it yet.

maintaining friendships are tiring.
altho there's no tough cases for me to handle lately
but i feel very tired somehow
to perhaps reignited drifting friendships..
with the not so close friends.

on the day, 10th of December, i held the bbq feelin great.

i felt great and i was all smiles.
but yet all smiles comes n go like a flash.
the moment it was over,
the gloom cloud pours over me.
i felt.. this oppressing sense..
of gloom somehow.

a rather melancholic kinda gloom.
perhaps cos i put in alot of effort for it,
after it ended,
everyone's enthusiasm stopped as well.

i checked some blogs,
i'm human afterall.
yet besides feng,
no one really mentioned anything about the BBQ.

went out with wilson yesterday to Marina Square and saw this stand just outside and bought a calendar for 2006 for $10 to contribute to charity for kids. wanted to get a calendar anyway. altho i eyed on that's available in kino, i reckoned why not donate it to charity instead and i'll get a calendar anyway.

mom's version of REMINDER more than often sounds more like senseless rantings aka scoldings than anything else that leads from initial trigger to some old-forsaken-but repeatedly-brought-up-issues-that's-totally-not-linked-to-initial-trigger-topic, thus making me very high strung and defensive and so.. i end up either being damn pissed, or i rebutt. then end up in yet another round of quarrelling, so on and so forth. then she accuses me of over-reacting. oh well. i've learnt to shut up. nothing to do with "standing up and defending myself". smart move would be to shut up and retreat.

wednesday the guys who were supposed to come n install the new lights my mom ordered didn't come. reasons? miscommunication between salesperson and mom, and sales person and workers. mom's blood pressure must've risen up really high cos i saw her roll her eyeballs and swallowing down really hard more than 10 times.

anyway, we finally had the workers come by this morning. after all the drilling and lotsa vacumming afterwards and moppings as well (we moped the same room nearly 5 times and i'm NOT joking, i swear i could nearly see my reflection), here's a pic of the newly installed lamp in my room!!!!

incidentally, this happened. kinda.. speechless abt it.

basically the workers are 3 men. one head guy (chinese), two helpers (1 chinese 1 indian i think). the head is well.. don't look old la altho quite competent looking. think he at most late twenties lo. must've started apprenticeship damn long ago when he was younger lah. ok fine so wad, at most he few years senior to me lah but i was wearing oversize tshirt with the word moo? on it and huge oversized (wilson's) shorts. after installing the lamp for me, this was wad happened.

after work ah gu come n fetch me also HEEE!!!! then we go meet up with his friends, burger and guowei, for dinner at bugis. wanted to go this boardgame cafe initially but it was too expensive and we weren't entirely sure about its location so we ended up eating at some random kopitiam and the food.. SUXXXXXXXXXXXX. and the kopi auntie abit siao siao one. can see the wild look in wilson's eyes when the stupid auntie gave a taunting comment which was like.. "wad the fuck?". good thing my gu is nice guy no matter how pissed he tries to keep his cool. apparently we got the BRAND of the soft drink we wanna order WRONG lah!! so wad!? just remind us gently will die? must taunt? we're customers k! $%$2%23$!!$$2%23$!!$@$^ *point point middle fingers*

after dinner i brought them to shaw towers to try out this ice cream from Tom's Palette at #01-25. it's really nice and pretty affordable so u shld really go try it. they had really weird flavours like chrysanthenum (?), peanut, pink guava and even lavender (??) hahahaha i tried lavender and gosh it tasted as if i've placed the flower itself and is eating it raw or something! the flavours are very very authentic and the strawberry flavour from wad i heard, is that they were made from real fruit so indeed it did taste very real as well.



after the ice cream the boys had a game in the LAN shop but soon we went our separate ways cos me promised to meet up with terry for some drinking at cuscaden. christmas is coming and the streets of Orchard Rd gets beautifully lit up with decorations and christmas trees. i've always liked sparkly lights cos they make the atmosphere so romantic hahaha good music makes ur moody go up high. (not the boring boring xmas songs tho)



cat got hungry so i fed it chicken wings. it's a pregnant mama!



and so we chatted on random topics and the boys played a couple of games of pool, i think i drank too much hahahahaha puked alittle hahahah cos felt queasy so tot puking will make me feel better and spare me the hangover. think i was too full when i drank so the intoxication sank in faster. or perhaps bcos i was in a pretty good mood. but anyhow i have my gu with me to bring me home safe n sound to take care of me tho god knows wad happened after i got home *GRIN*

we woke up pretty late the nxt mornin and went down to visit gu's mama before meeting up with yifeng at novena square for lunch. haven't met her for some time since her exams and all but nevermind hehehehe can meet her again during mi bbq!!

previously we were up in a pet shop in novena N MY GOD!!! CUTE BABY HAMSTERS!!!!!! they are DAMN SMALL!!! think only about 1.5 inches only!! they were all cuddling together and sleeping and to my shock i realised there were seven of them all!!!!!! (combine together is size of my ONE hamster AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA) soon they got pretty active and start CHIONGING everywhere my god.. then .. gu dragged me out of shop. WHY LIDAT!!!!! GU DUN LEMME BUY HAMMIE LAH I WAN TO COMPLAIN!

then after lunch must go home attend to my fat babies. so fat. bathed them and washed their cage. see my contended fat baby. poo all over the place. TSK.



been busy today and will continue to be rather busy lately cos preparing for my BBQ. so happy my friends gimme so much face then all very steady people so i don't even need to worry about those childish reasons people tend to give as excuses during BBQ invites. *hugs all*

was randomly posing as Aunt Agony.. or rather, Aunt Maria *growls* and so LH consulted me on some issues to get my opinions and once again upon a impromptu trigger, i've gained yet another evolved theory that i've been struggling to put into words. hahahah

when do we know whom to confide and what to confide and how much should we rely on them and are the the right people to place upon these.. well haha it's a double edge sword. you can either call it a "priviledge", for others to share a part of yourself, or if not, "burden" for havin to let the person carry a piece of u that adds to their worries and emotional stress.

there are and will always be someone or a couple of people whom we perhaps, wished, that we could be really really really close with. share every single thing in our life with them. our gossips, all our ups and downs and wad nots. but can we? when will the day when the weight of what we tell them be too much for them to bear? do we know how to limit ourselves. normally we do, but there are people out there who don't. they end up being very very reliant and if not, cling to these group or that particular person for total emotional support. so much so, it might even get to a point where they RELY on that person to come up with a solution to solve his/her issues for him/her when seriously, it's not really the friend's business. so now you selfishly relieved yourself from the responsibility of decision making and burdened your friend with all your emotional stress and worries and wad nots.

end up, if u're friend is a very emotional person, i think the person will die young.

i once over relied on a friend for emotional support and totally allowed myself to sink into numb oblivion. till reality slapped me in the face telling me my friend is drowning bcos of me, then did i realise how much i love my friend and should not continue wad i'm doing. then i learnt to filter what needs to be shared and what is not required. or to be more specific about wad i meant with this, is to choose the right people to share certain information for your required result/answers.

you can't just have one friend to share all with you. everyone's receptive towards different things. some can offer you absolute silent support however, they may not be particularly effective at giving good advices, or some may be very analytically rational but not able to link totally with you to understand totally what you feel, is he/she irrelevant? No. of course not. they all have their pro n con influences in you. you just need to BE AWARE of yourself, your behaviour and seek out the right person to talk to for different topics.

in simple, we must delegate what we share to different people so as to not overload any one person with something they can't handle. stayin open minded and alwayz reflectin AND LEARNING is impt. you absorb but you don't learn is just as stupid. the truth never promised to be nice. it hurts most of the time. bear with it and you'll see light. that's wad's more impt that petty tempers of taking everything as a personal insult.

guess all these are based on ur heng suay one loh. u meet good/right people, u heng. u meet stupid individuals, u suay lo. so far i quite heng lah.

then again, these heng suay u can decide one you know!?

u can choose, if you open your eyes, to realise who r the people to treasure becos of their POSITIVE INFLUENCES AND IMPORTANCE IN UR CHARACTER BUILDING. but most people quite blind lah.

sometimes people overlook things. doesn't meant u shld condemn then. u can choose to let known so that now the other party can pay more attention over something they overlooked. but sometimes, bo bian u can't do it that way, then u dwell and sad o'er it oso no point, u filter wad u share so as to protect urself and be smart, talk to someone else instead.

very the NOT slip proof and has no grip wadsover even tho it's NIKE!!

as usual the cleaners are clearing up the stairways with lotsa water in the morning and as i walked on down the steps with gu's helmet on my left n my bag on my right, i forgot one thing very important.

my shoes are hopeless with water.

but that's too late already cos i slipped and fell.

*cries*

it came all too fast and i landed on my butt on the wet floor. thank god i'm still fast enough to break my fall. no serious injury.

BUT,

there is one victim however.

my condolences to wilson's helmet.

it cracked and one screw flew out and the screen came loose.

O_O!!!

i forgot to take a shot of how it looks like now.
it' s now sadly deposited next to the dustbin just downstairs my hse.
heng i nvr bring my own helmet out *snickers*
so after wilson's helmet cracked, i went back in the hse to take my helmet.
this time i took the lift down.

i was strangely cheery even after i fell.
after i realised that the helmet got cracked i turned to look at wilson and i was laughing.
since he long wanted to wait til this helmet of his get spoilt so he can get a new one..
i've done him a favour haven't i?
LOL
i turned to him and said laughingly, "i've cracked ur helmet for u already! u can throw it now!"

wahahahahaha

mom was abit shocked when i fell then i told her i'm fine except the helmet is pronounced dead.
then i cursed at the shoe.
wilson did a "QC" on my backside, my spine and my elbow and started rubbing my wrist when he saw it slightly red from the fall. wahaha i like very heck care about my fall but wilson was fretting like kanchiong spider scared i spoil something inside my body.

oh well.

half an hour from now and i'm gonna go cook my beef which i've failed to cook successfully the previous attempt. MUST..COOK..GOOD..BEEF..!!

anyway, woke up pretty early to tag my gu downstairs to start bike n hug him for at least 20 minutes before allowing him to go work. then went back upstairs and got changed to go parkway deposit money for mom. walked around but didn't buy anything much except some groceries and newspapers and.. a NOVEL! waha! found it at the bookstore just behind the hawker. apparently this book i bought, Dark Angel by Sally Beauman, i've read it like ages and ages ago when i loaned it from my secondary school library. the book was published back in 1990. i can't find it in the library nor in bookstores so i thought of trying my luck with this old bookstore. i stood infront of the massive collection of books that's not arranged in any way convenient for me to locate the book at all. i felt as if i was in a jungle.. of books that is. the owner saw my confused look so he came by asking me wad i was looking for. i mentioned the author followed by the title and his reaction was a wide eyed one followed by a remark, "wah that book very old already leh". lol

i know.

but he moves in amidst that jungle of books trying to find a copy of that novel i wanted and guess i'm lucky cos there is one! and a second hand copy so he sold it to me for five bucks wahahahaha

when i got home i proceeded to washing my hamster cage but before that, inspiration struck me to take a couple of shots of my little monsters babies from a toilet roll view wahahaha

i've been doing lotsa technical QC for animal planet tapes lately and you know what? i'm learning to appreciate the need to preserve wildlife and their living habitats more n more and those people who emerge their lives in works that revolves around all these are just fascinating and admirable. then i've been watching tapes involving people being surrogate parents (temporarily till the baby animals are fit to go back living in the wild) for the wild animals that were either orphaned by accidents or rejected by their parents etc. they are really cute when they are babies and requires alot of attention and alot of money. but of course they are forever wild animals so .. you gotta learn to let go someday.

oh oh.. it's time. beef cookin session!! i'll show u the end result IF it's good. *wipes sweat*
